leap camp 12-13 jan 06 - part 01

er.. decided to blog about my school's recent camp organised for JC2s...

[note: ZUO HAN since you haven go yet.. haha... dont wanna spoil your fun... so better dont read lah]

Day 1: 12 Jan 2006 Thursday

meet in the school hall and assembled at the usual timing... 7.25am
haiz... Siang is seperated from me... sianz lo...
she's in group 7A while me in group 8A...
grp 7A is mixed with 6 girls from 2S29 & 2 girls 2 boys from 2A05...
grp 8A is the majority of the 2S29...
she so suay right... lo...
but nevermind lo...
HER FACILLITATOR is a handsome & cute malay guy lol....
while mine was a female one --- Cameilia...
arh... [jealous]
seriously... he's good-looking...
haha...

first destination: clark quay

had some commotion going on for this destination thingy...
Esther mentioned about walking from another side is nearer to get there...
well, nobody really take note of it...
i did heard her say, cuz she was standing right beside me..
but i didnt really know the place, so just follow others lo...

so we went on as a group...
walked the City Link Mall...
then saw this Singtel shop...
the girls were like "hey can ask them where is the Singtel Building leh."
so the guys went inside to ask...
[btw the Singtel building is our 4th destination..]

while we were waiting for the train to take to Orchard..
the commotion started...
"hey ya... why didnt you say earlier on?"
"really, she said just now already."
"then now no choice lo... just go through this route lo... if not we'll have to u-turn back."

.

saw Gary's group too...
they taking the same train but i dont know whats their destination...
but i was like... "hey ya... the most we follow their group lo..."
[cuz i tot that we might have the same route]

reached the Orchard...
woohoo... RAINING super doper heavily...
shiok and soak...
lol...
the facillitator said that we could find another alternative by finding the nearest shelter that can see the statue that we were supposed to find...
but asked around... nobody knows...
so......
"hey ya don't care lah, we just run under the rain lo...
drench drench lo..."
run arh...
[me and esther share umbrella. cheryl and adeline share poncho. lydia and lysias erm... forgot whether they share umbrella not. mandy and isabella erm... forgot le. the guys.. they just ran like that... though we were not allowed to run like that without wearing or using anything to shelter...]

wanted to carry on running but the lightning stuck...
opps...
we were stopped...
okay...
Cameilia had to call her boss to ask whether we are allowed to carry out the task without showing the real destination since the rain was too heavy.
played this circle game...
erm... interesting lo..
shall not say too much, cuz our games might be the same...
anyways, we succeeded... [keeping my fingers crossed]
haha... cheated i mean...
dont tell you why leh... :]]

earn credits and points...
then continue our journey...

as we were deciding whether to go Chinese Garden or NUS...
we saw Gary's group again boarding the train at another station...
talked to him a bit...
cuz he seemed gloomy...
well, he said he was sleepy...
okay.. haha...

we decided to go NUS first, then continue to go our second destination --- Chinese Garden


bonus location: NUS

we just have to go there, then can earn 2000 points lo..
so we took bus 95....
then Cheryl quietly hide at the back of the crowded bus to call her sister and ask for help on how to get to the NUS university hall...
okay...

when we reach this bus stop, Cheryl was like alight...
but Adrian the ex-NUS student said "Don't"
so we didnt alight...
then the lady who sat beside me was like "You all wanna go to the University Hall right? Its this building." pointing that the building beside the bus stop that we didnt alight...
ARGH...
haha... thankz the lady...
then we all dropped at the next bus stop...
cus bus 95 is a loop bus which means time-consuming if we wait for the bus to turn back...
ran under the heavy RAIN again...
Adrian's gonna owe our group arh...
for making us run under the heavy RAIN...
chiong arh...
reached there...
then we chionged to the opposite bus stop to take the bus 95 that turned back...

argued about our credits...
cuz when we boarded the bus, we'll use up 1 credit...
but since we board the bus again... we'll still use the same credit...
cus usually students dont tap their card when go down...
so when we boarded again... it would mean we tap our card for exiting...
yeah...


second destination: Chinese Garden

this is the most erm... unforgettable destination...
we walked from the MRT to Chinese Garden's back door... under the heavy RAIN...
from the back door to the front door... walked there and couldnt find the guy who was supposed to give us task to earn points and credits...
walked inside the temple to find, also dont have...
at the time, Cameilia walked in and tell us that that guy changed destination to one of the HDB flats... near the MRT...
DOTS....
DOTS....
DOTS....
walked back to the MRT under the heavy RAIN...
but couldnt find where's the block...
so decided to forfeit....
anyways its really not our fault...

after that we decided to go to Woodlands to meet up with group 6 and 7.
cuz that destination requires a whole class to participate...
while waiting for the train to come...
i went to buy white bread with Sean [not Shaun arh]...

Cameilia call her boss to ask if we can get our credits and points for the Chinese Garden...


third destination: woodlands town

saw group 6 there, eating at BK...
was wondering how did they can enough credits to buy a BK meal with enough credits left to travel for the next journey...

we sat at the side of the mall, where we could view the NICE scenery of the HEAVY DOWNPOUR right in front of you...
haha...

we settled down, then i passed the white bread around...
but Eugene was like "ayee, we are beggers lah."
haha... well...
what can i do?
the guys didnt wanna eat...
Adrian after that bought our group many packets of fries from BK and let us share...
YEAH...
haha...
anyways, he owed us arh...

reflected on our day with Cameilia...
said this and that...

when Siang's group came...
let's go... to BLK 102...
and carry on our journey...

played this Hu-La-Hoop game and completed within 4mins...
quite interesting...

we were supposed to report at Ubin at 4.30pm...
therefore, we decided to forfeit the rest of the stations and go to Ubin straight away...
if not there'll be penalty...
but while taking the train, someone called to ask if we wanna go to the Ubin or School cuz the jetty area is RAINING HEAVILY...
majority chose school...
and since they havent decided what time for us to report back...
we decided to carry on with our game...


fourth destination: singtel building

alighted at Somerset MRT station...
and walked to the Singtel building behind...
i tell you.. this is where i was lost while trying to find my way to Akane's house on our cheerleading outing when i had to make Gary and Inge come down to fetch me...
haiz...pai seh lah...
then we got correct...


fifth destination: mustafa

took train again...
since we were thinking that we'll be reaching mustafa at a very late timing if we walked there...
saw the 2S27 group at the same place as us...
reached Mustafa...
then went back to the MRT station to find a clean and dry place for activity...
played this puzzle game...
quite interesting too...


last destination: srjc

woohoo...
alighted at Kovan...
we walked under the slight drizzle...
and bought 16 packets of bean curd at the famous bean curd store near SRJC...
we ate as we walked back to school...
i guess only me and Adel couldnt finish our bean curd lo...
haha...
then we threw it into the dustbin at the bus stop outside school together...

reached the hall, only a few groups was there...
yeah...
but no bonus...
